Happy Father’s Day Announcement and Round Up

by Jeff Rose on June 21, 2009

in Weekly Round Up/Carnival

Whose going to be a brother?

Whose going to be a brother?

Did you read my son’s shirt above?  In case you missed it the shirt reads, “I’m gonna be a big brother“.  We thought it was only appropriate that since our son is almost two and throws tantrums like the one above, it was only fitting to have another :)    My wife is almost 9 weeks along and morning sickness is in its fullest form.  Got to give her love and all the other mother’s out there who go through that.  Also have to give some love for all the father’s out there that love and support them throughout.   Building a family is a challenging blast that I enjoy more and more each and everyday.  So to all, Happy Father’s Day!

Congratulations. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but my husband tells me that the second one is really just more work for the dad. Mom is still focused on the baby, but now you get full responsibility of the first one, instead of shared.

Happy Father’s Day and congrats!

I’ll second Staci – the second one kills you if you’re the Dad. You just don’t realize how much time the mother spends with the newborn until you have to spend all that time with the older kid.

Congratulations and Mazel Tov! Hopefully, the new one won’t be as much work as everyone seems to think, but even so, I’m sure you’ll find the whole experience rewarding. Let us know how it goes!
