As a CPA and advisor I don’t always agree with Suze, but I think I might have enjoyed this episode.

Great advice to those looking for an advisor! Too many are more focused on their pocketbook rather than what’s best for the client. Your advice is an easy litmus test for who’s side the advisor is on.

I seemed to miss this episode (OK, I miss every episode)... But I probably would have watched this one. Many pro athletes are led astray and believe their careers and the income will last forever. On top of that, there are hundreds of "friends," "business partners," "wealth advisors," and other people looking to hold on to their coat tails and get a free ride. It can be a difficult situation for a young person who has never had much money. Some sports even require rookies to attend a money management seminar when they first sign a pro contract. But I doubt they are very affective because most of those kids just went from having nothing to becoming instant millionaires. It's too much for many people to handle.
