Twitter. I assume you’ve heard about it by now. Celebrities are using it (Ben Stiller, Ashton Kutcher, Oprah Winfrey) . Professional athletes are on it (Danica Patrick, Chad Ocho Cinco, Dwight Howard, Michael Phelps). Even President Obama is on Twitter. While you might not get the whole concept of sending a “Tweet”, Twitter has become a real part of our society. Many complaints of those that are overwhelmed by keeping track of never ending Tweets now have an easier way to sort through the “Tweet” noise.
Twitter has released what are called Twitter Lists. These lists allow you to sort all your Twitter followers by certain categories. For example, if you wanted to follow only Tweeters that lived in your state, you could start a list that would just follow those. If you wanted to follow only female celebrities, it can be easily done. If you just want to follow NFL players, yes; it’s that simple. It can be as creative as you want it to be. If you don’t want to create your own list, you’re in luck- you can just follow somebody else’s list. Many of the big Twitter giants have created lists ranging over many different categories. Listed below are some of the Top Twitter Lists. If you’re looking for a comprehensive list of Twitter’s elite, you’ve come to right place. If you haven’t set up a Twitter account yet or not sure how to use Twitter, you best do so and get ready “to follow” some really good Twitter Lists.
