What another great week in the blogosphere. Networking has been extremely important in my business and in the blogging world, it’s no different. Every week I seem to meet another new inspirational blogger or get to know a fellow blogger just a little more.
Here’s a few of the newly discovered blogs that I came across. I haven’t had a chance to really dive into them, but at least wanted to share them to you. I’m sure in the near future, you’ll be seeing some of them included in my weekly round up.
- Green Panda House Personal Finance for College Students and New Graduates. Here’s a more recent post on How to handle your finances more like a business.
- Frugal Dad I’ve actually came across Frugal Dad’s site many time before, but this is the first time introducing it. He also just released a new blog for any pre-blogger interested in starting a new blog called Side Hustle Blogging. Just added it to my Reader this week and look forward to some good tips.
- No Debt Plan -Came across this blog for his ingenious idea to implement “Subscriber Swap Saturday”. Here’s his idea at work interviewing one of my buddies, Patrick, over at Cash Money Life.
- Budget Pulse BudgetPulse.com is a new financial management service designed to help track your budget and manage your money. Just met Craig from over there and looking forward to learning more.
Guest Posts
As the title of post suggest, this was guest post week. I was very fortunate to have two other great bloggers allow me to guest post on their sites. The first guest post was on Gen X Finance. You may recall the name because that’s where I got that great steak chili recipe that I shared earlier this week. On his blog, I shared 5 things that I did financially that was able to get me ahead. These are things that I achieved not just because I’m a financial planner, but because I was able to implement sound financial choices.
The second guest post was on Lazy Man and Money. How can you not like that blog title? Lazy Man shared my post Greed or No Greed. In the post I tie in the popular game show, Deal or No Deal, and how the contestants are similar to stock investors. Not a bad read if I say so myself.
In addition to guest posts, Pete over at Bible Money Matters flattered me by asking to conduct an interview. Interview me? I didn’t know I was that interesting. Be sure to check it out and also check out Pete’s blog. Here’s another great post from Pete discussing the Obama Stimulus Package.
