Okay, does the above picture give my Super Bowl pic away? Nothing against the Steelers. They are obviously an example of a true football dynasty. But my boy, Kurt, has been my favorite since his days in St. Louis, and I’m just excited to see him in the big game again today. Seeing a 38 year old still battling out on the gridiron every Sunday gives this recently turned 31 year old some hope as he continues to play flag football every fall. For those that know me….Yes, I know it’s flag football. Yes, I know it’s a church league. And yes, I know that’s intramural. But it’s still a battle every Sunday and even thought I broke a rib last year. But after a week of rest and against the doctors orders, I was out there battling it out again. My wife thinks I’m obsessed and who am I to argue? What I can say, I love it! So c’mon Kurt! Make us thirty year-olds that think we’re twenty some hope!
