Making a second income from home, sounds like a dream, right? Wouldn't we all love to sit on our couch, binge watching Netflix and put some more money in our pockets? Thanks to the internet, there are a couple of ways that you can earn a little extra spending money in your free time.
If you've ever searched “making money online,” you've seen the thousands and thousands of ways that you can make money online. A lot of those claims to make $6,000 every month (I find that hard to believe), but in the middle of all those wild claims and scam sites are a few legit ways that you can make money with a few simple mouse clicks. One of the most popular ways of making cash online is to join a survey panel.
What is a Survey Panel?
Before we start looking at the specifics of LiveSample, let's take a broad look at survey sites in general. There are thousands and thousands of companies that are looking to get the opinions and ideas of their customers. Traditionally, companies were enticing their customers to take a survey by offering a variety of different prizes.
To streamline this process, there have been dozens of companies that work with companies across the globe to connect them with their target audience. In this situation, the companies get the opinions that they need, while the consumers get rewarded for their time.
Best Survey Sites
As I mentioned, there are dozens of different survey programs that you can join. All of them are going to be different. Some are going to give you better rewards for your time. It's important that you find the best program for you. Some survey programs are going to are going to give you straight cash for every survey that you finish while other programs are going to give you points. You can use those points to redeem them for prizes or gift cards. Both of them are fine, but you need to pick the type that is going to work better for you.
Instead of wasting hours and hours doing the research or joining the survey sites yourself, I've done all of that dirty work for you. I've outlined dozens of survey sites and researched the pros and cons of each of these programs. If you want to earn some extra money by completing surveys, be sure to check out my best survey sites page.
When I started researching LiveSample, I was surprised to see how little background information there is on the survey site. Their site doesn't have an “About Us” or any information about the company itself. Personally, this was a massive red flag for me, but that didn't keep more from joining the program to see what it's all about.
The first thing that you should know about LiveSample is that you're not going to earn any cash for completing surveys. Instead of getting cash or points for filling out a survey, you're going to get entries into a sweepstake. Every time that you finish a task, you get one entry. Every three months they have a drawing of $50,000. The more surveys that you finish during the three months, the better your chances of taking home the prize.
Yep, there is no guarantee that you will make any more for completing the survey. Sure, there is a chance that you could receive a $50,000 check, but you never know.

If you decide that you want to join LiveSample and take a gamble of winning the grand prize, it's straightforward to do. It's free to join LiveSample, and it will only take you a few minutes. When you first head over to their website, you will notice that it's very minimal (I would say too minimal). There are only a few different buttons on their menu, and they make it clear on how to join. In the middle of the home page is a box to enter your email address to get started.
The program only requires a little basic information about yourself. After you've created your profile, you will have to answer a few questions about yourself. These are going to be very simple questions about how many people are in your household, your age, and some of the products that you use.
These questions about your household are going to impact the type of surveys that you get and how many invitations that you receive. The companies that LIveSample work with are concerned with their target audience, and to decide which demographics that you fall under, you will need to complete this initial questionnaire about yourself.
After you've answered all of the questions, all that you have to do is verify your account through your email, and that it. You're ready to go. You can start completing surveys and earning entries into the sweepstake.
Complaints about LiveSample
As with any survey program, there are going to be some complaints. There is not a survey panel that you will find that doesn't have at least a couple complaints. LiveSample is no different. One of the most common complaints, as you can imagine, is that you don't earn any direct cash for completing surveys.
Another complaint that I found was about being kicked off of surveys. Several members have said that they were kicked off when they were finishing the survey. They did not get rewarded for their time and didn't earn their sweepstake entry. While I was doing my digging, I only ran into a few members that had this problem.
The most serious complaint that I saw was that LiveSample would give out your information to other sites. I only saw two complaints about the program giving out your info, but it's a serious red flag. After you sign up for the program, expect to get a lot of spam email. It's not a huge problem, but it can be quite annoying.
If you're wondering if LiveSample is a scam, it's not. The website is 100% legit, but it is not going to be the best option for your survey taking time and efforts. If you want to take the chance to win $50,000, then by all means, sign up for the panel and start taking surveys. I would rather guarantee that I'm going to get money for all of my time. Sure, there is a chance that you will get some serious earnings.
If you want to join LiveSample, go ahead and give it a shot. It's free and easy to join. If you decide that you want a program that gives you cash or points, then you can join a different program, and you haven't lost anything other than a little bit of your time.
As I mentioned, there are dozens and dozens of survey programs on the Internet. All of them are different. One of the worst things that could happen is for you to join a scam site that is going to steal your information. If you have any questions about the different survey sites, feel free to head over to my best survey sites page. You can look at all of your options to decide which one is best for you.
